Self-taught artist Val Henderson creates vivid colour images of the East coast of Australia, particularly the beautiful South coast of New South Wales and South East Queensland. Many of the exotic heliconias and other tropical plants featured in her work grow in her garden. Her inspiration is drawn from beach, bush, and rain forest images. Val’s work is represented in private, commercial and government collections in Australia and overseas.
