Gift Genie was established in 2007 by Julie Marra out of a desire to start a business from home so that she could be a stay at home Mum to daughter Ella. Julie has a Bachelor of Business Studies and a background in Sales and Marketing. Working in the beauty and gift industry gave her the knowledge she needed to start Gift Genie. He desire to provide gift baskets with a difference inspired Julie to seek baskets which contained product beyond the usual flowers and food. The products used were chosen because of their good quality and appeal and the belief that these would be gifts that people would genuinely like to use and enjoy receiving. Julie also wanted to make gift buying easier knowing how hard it can be to buy for certain people – especially men.The hassle has been taken out of gift buying – no roaming around malls and shops hunting for the perfect gift when you can find it on the Gift Genie website. Everything is done for the customer and delivered right to the door of the lucky recipient. And who doesn’t like receiving a beautiful boxed gift.
